In my quest for self-understanding, I dive deep into exploring my personal identity, essence, and purpose. This journey goes beyond simple introspection, aiming to uncover the unique facets of my existence. It involves a thorough examination of my beliefs, values, and motivations, and how these internal elements shape my interactions with the world. This process of creating, often leads me to a richer appreciation of my strengths, vulnerabilities, and aspirations, providing a clearer view of my role and influence across different contexts.
At the same time, I explore how my actions impact others and how these interactions play out within the broader dynamics of groups and communities. This series looks at how my presence and actions influence, and are influenced by, larger societal structures. It examines the interplay between personal agency and collective norms, revealing how I both shape and am shaped by group dynamics. I highlight the tension between individuality and conformity, showing how my unique identity can both challenge and complement the collective.
Through this work, I aim to uncover the delicate balance between self-expression and communal belonging. I emphasize that understanding myself is deeply connected to understanding my place within the wider spectrum of human relationships and societal frameworks. My pieces reflect how my actions impact others, how these interactions are absorbed, resisted, and mirrored, and how this interplay reveals both distinct individuality and collective existence. Ultimately, my work explores how an individual is incomplete without a deeper connection to both oneself and society, and how this connection is essential for discovering true strengths and identity.
